I visited New York At the end of 2018, and went to see the memorial site of September 11. Being a photographer specializing in architectural elements, I was particularly moved by the Oculus designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava. I photographed the Oculus from different angles, but the density of the surrounding buildings interferes with the abstract beauty of the element, so I processed and edited the images on my computer, isolating the Oculus so that its abstract beauty can be discerned.
Eli Matityahu Artist Statement A Piece of Art, in my point of view, is a “meeting point” between the artist and the viewer. After shooting the frame, I continue with Post Prosesing on my computer, according to my inspiration and creativity. In my work, I present the reality as I see It in my vision and my “mind’s eye”.
