This series is part of a project I started in 2015 documenting daily life in the most western city of France. It is called "Brest la Blanche", it is shot exclusively on 135 and 120 film and mostly in black & white.

I started taking pictures for my daily job in 2010. Keeping it simple and focused on making illustrative pictures for the websites I was working for.
In 2013, a friend gave me a small film camera, he had received as a heritage. I was very intrigued by the "physical" properties of film and dove into the technical aspect of it: I learned about film developing, darkroom printing...
I gradually realised I was expressing myself, that I was using the daily life of my city to do so, and I loved it.
I then decided to start a project in 2015: document the life of my city.
