This series of images is a journey exploring physical displacement, as well as of social and psychological dislocation. Individual aloneness, self- estrangement and the mood of an eerie stillness, instill an intrinsic sense of loneliness.
While being particularly interested in representing the fissure that exists between the individual’s identity and the society’s reality, I also wanted to engage the viewer in the beauty of reverie and self- absorption.
