This series is a graphic essay about the emergence of life and, specifically, about abiogenesis; that indeterminate and mysterious moment between the inanimate and what we call life. Try also to be a tribute (hence the title) to the first atomists and particularly to Epicurus. They had the audacity to think deeply although this cost them the marginality in their time and the subsequent undervaluation of history. The photographs have been taken in the surroundings of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, in the provinces of Segovia and Madrid (Spain)
