Beijing Opera

In Peking/Beijing Opera, every detail of each costume and movement has specific meaning endowed. This historic art form has its own unique style of music, dancing and clothing. I was lucky enough to be able to watch this star prepare and get ready for his show in China.

I am a photographer with a background in social work. I use my pen and camera as grassroots tools to help raise awareness for underserved populations.
