Shades of white

Switzerland, you would think snow is a part of every winter days. But climate change has taken its toll in our mountain environment. You have to reach greater altitude to see precious white «gold». As a true lover of snow and colder weather, I’m always on the look out and anxious for snowfalls to illuminate my surroundings. In January 2019 a much awaited snowfall landed. A photographic episode was imminent, a rendezvous with nature and silence at the pass of Jura Mountains. I was blessed with a spectacle from mother nature wich presented a magnificient landscape in various shades of white.

Born on the urban island of Montreal, Annick reunites with photography while living in Switzerland. The rediscovery of the beauty of the swiss alp’s lake is where she resumes her photographic work with happiness and passion.
Seeking to show a prolonged vision of the subject, not just to capture but to make it last, is what inspires her. Dusk or dawn, it is the concert of a moment’s beauty and reflection for Annick in a constant search of textures, colors and precious lights.
