Living with a disability, you have two paths you can take, 1. develop a sense of humor or 2. let your physical disability develop into a mental disability. I chose option 1 and while, at times, my sense of humor is only funny to myself, it has helped me tremendously while being bound to a wheelchair. The first thing that attracted me to these boots was, of course, the writing on the side, but then I had an idea to create an image that encapsulated my sense of humor and also juxtaposed the limitations of being paralyzed with the job of shoes, which are "For Walking."
