Baghmati is not just a river it’s a civilization, generation of generations is adopting in the capital Kathmandu. Unfortunately with the haphazard urbanization the holy river is struggling to preserve it’s identity.
Baghmati has supported life from ages nourishing its cultural and religious values. Hindu has it's religious importance form the time of birth to death. They believe if you take a bath even once in a lifetime or cremate in Baghmati after death you will be liberated to heaven. Baghmati a good memory with the residence of Kathmandu of swimming and fishing on their early ages can be encountered often. And the rest are history. It’s been ages water has been floating hardly on its stream because of the garbage and sewage dumped illicitly in the river from the city. Now government and individual initiations are made to protect and restore to it’s normal.

I am trained in Visual Art. I have been practicing photography for last six years and half and working as a freelance photographer. Photography for me is the process of getting related to my subject of interest and define it intriguingly. Artistic space created by photography on its own sphere is what I am fascinated about. It’s an opportunity to know and realize different life and notion and tell the story.
