More than a Shroud

At the Palestine Solidarity March in Cape Town, November 2023, a young boy walks through the crowd carrying a white shroud, a powerful symbol of the children lost in Gaza. In his small hands, he holds not just fabric, but the weight of injustice, memory, and resistance. This image captures a haunting contrast: the innocence of youth and the burden of global grief. His silent act echoed louder than chants, a reminder that even the youngest among us can bear witness and carry the call for justice.
