In the Altai Mountains of Mongolia, the ancient tradition of eagle hunting is alive and well. There is something magical watching with anticipation as an eagle is soaring from a mountain top to the valley with only one objective-to kill the prey. I've watched eagle hunters in Mongolia train their eagle to hunt more than a few dozen times. I'm always looking for a new perspective and to capture a moment I haven't captured before. You can't really hear them approach, they are completely silent as they fly. Next thing you know their claws are forward ready to precisely land on the kill.
