Fjords of Senja

Norwegian fjords are of an outstanding beauty. Steep mountains raise from these narrow strips of the North Atlantic, their deep blue hues melting perfectly with the whiteness of winter. It feels like fjords, from their inland tips, are there to gradually accompany you from the familiar environment of the mainland out to the open ocean. Never have I seen such a gloriously perfect bond between mountains and the sea.

I am a self-thought photographer currently based in Cambridge, UK, where I work as a research scientist in genetics. I am an avid photographer and a passionate traveller, drawn to quiet, soft natural sceneries.
With a focus on quasi-minimal compositions and by using long-exposure and post-processing techniques, I wish to explore the introspective link between landscapes and the feeling of peaceful timelessness they evoke in me.
