Reindeer herder of the Yamal

On the Yamal peninsula, in the Russian north, reindeer herder are still leaving a traditional life. They are nomads striding the toundra with their herd. However the influence of the modern world is visible everywhere and is slowly changing the way of life. Two worlds are coexisting. The climate change also as an impact: the migration starts earlier, sudden rise of temperature melt the ice and snow making the way and the feeding of the animals harder.
