Them & Theirs

Ongoing series of portraits about people and the vehicles they own. Each image is constructed working closely with the subjects to develop a concept relevant to their personal aesthetic, creative outlet, environment they inhabit, and the vehicle itself.

1979 - 1997 - Greater Chicagoland Area - growing, climbing, Living and working up and down California since 1997. Blending influences from cinema, literature, and street photography, my productions often focus around a single, wide image of a distinct location, telling stories of multiple characters in a single frame.  While large scale, Tableaux Vivants have become a cornerstone in my approach, I continue to apply the narrative tradition to a range of applications in portraiture and motion pictures.
