Entry Description

Zirkus Enrique Muñoz García The Zirkus serie was made on 27 and 28 December 2012 in Ancud on the Chiloé island in Chili. The Circus "La águilas humanas" was founded 80 years ago and is until today one of the most prestigious and most popular circus from Chili. I was born in Ancud in 1969. I remember well the time when I was a child and the Circus visited. That was in the 70s and early 80s. The political situation in Chile at that time was difficult, it was the time of the military dictatorship. we had only one TV channel, certain music and movies were censored. Through this won the circus even much more important. Now, more than 30 years later, I wanted to do portraits from the circus people behind the scenes. Capture the moment, when everything is ready... just waiting for the audience.
