Cold Summer is a series of staged images united by a narrative story and a nonlinear disjointed plot featuring four young people and their short interaction on the beach on a cold summer day. The narrative is created by placing the subjects in relation to one another and the elements of their environment. While being emotionally cold, the story covers not only the impassive attitude and initial serene atmosphere intensified by the tranquil waters of the sea, but also a play, rivalry, envy, hurt feelings of one of the characters and the revenge, concluded by the handful of sand thrown in the rival’s face.
