Mermaids Myths & Legends

Mermaids hypnotising with their beauty and songs, mysterious creatures including nymphs and sirens trying to lure errant sailors near rocky cliffs and tales of seafarers:brave and fearless on their long voyages into unknown seas have captured the human imagination for centuries. With these series I wanted to capture the adventure, dreamy fantasy of perhaps prosperity, life and death , love and happiness and loss and hope.

I am a german born photographer - based since 2014 in the southwest Victoria, Australia. Fairytales and stories from around the world, surreal art and our natural environment compel me to create multilayered and unique images.
